Usually in a cow-porate merger of this kind, it is the imposters who are the most possessive and ferocious. The real stock-holder, who actually has a steak in the calf's future, shows less of the bull market tendencies. :wink:

How often do you sort heavies Soap? And how often do you have an extra or two when you go to sort? Those cows (especially three year olds) can be a real challengs telling just when their going to calve.

We try to sort heavies about every four to five days. Even then, there are usually two or three that get born out in the pasture. Guess I'm not too slick of a sorter, even though I've had an abundance of practice. Sometimes the back ends of black cows all get to looking the same. :? :wink:

Sure is aggravating when you put one (or more) in
that doesn't calve and a couple you didn't get, do......but it happens to
everyone. Anyone that has sorted heavies and say they never missed
one is playing loose with the truth.
