Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers 2.00-4.00 lower. Slaughter cows 3.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 1.00-2.00 lower. Trade active and demand moderate on a good quality of feeders. Bulk supply Medium and Large 1-2 300-600 lb feeder steers and heifers. There were 427 cows on offer with 326 head going to slaughter and around 101 head returning to the country. Slaughter cows made up 21 percent of offering, slaughter bulls 02 percent, replacement cows 06 percent, and feeders 71 percent.
The feeder supply included 62 percent steers and 38 percent heifers. Near 08 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
Steers: Large 1: 500-600 lbs 112.00-118.00; 600-700 lbs calves 113.00; 700-800 lbs calves 107.00.
