The weather has been very nice here the last couple days. It was 61 at the house but here on the creek next to the church it was 53 when I stopped to take a pic. 54 before I got all lined out. Usually it's hot and dry here by now. Some how the heat is north of us and has been for quite some time. Suits me.

You dog. Some people just like to rub salt in a wound.

74 degrees here at daylight this morning with a super high humidity. Walk out the door and the sweat pours...........................

Only supposed to get to 90 today though. Woohoooo!~

JB, my thermometer scares the H*** out of me this time of day!  The sender for my remote thermometer is on the ground on the north side of the house. It's right where the sun shines on it this time of day and the temp says.... 108.3    Pulls the same trick in the evening just before dark! I better move that darn thing or shade it somehow! Before the sun hit this morning it read about 76.

Predicting 103 today-- 108 tomorrow

I'm waiting on my tractor man- then we're going north and fix some creekcrossings to let the cows down to the springs on the creek....

We've gotten a few showers in the last couple of weeks but if the past few years are any indication of things to come, it will be dry again come end of August, Sept, Oct, and Nov.

Grass perked up a little. Might be a little hay cut, but the crops have been lost.

The WHOLE state has been declared a disaster area....................

So I guess you don't want any pictures of fields full of hay then either. I'm glad your drought is breaking some at least. Maybe once it kind of lets up, you'll get enough moisture in the ground to at least supply some moisture for pop up showers.

Ok,I read the +54 before I noticed the F behind it....to a Canadian +54 is death by heatstroke...lol. Today its only+ 90{35C} its like cold...ha,ha.I soooooo hate this heat, last night was the worst ever, could not sleep at all because it was so hot.Sitting on the deck at 3.30am I noticed it looked like Pure Country was getting an electric storm and hopefully rain.....We're pretty well burnt, haven't had rain in about six weeks+hot temps :(

When we moved cows on Friday, it was only 4 degrees (39 F)  first thing in the morning, and what a change that was from this 'barely cooling off at night and then back up to 35' stuff! It was down right chilly for this time of year, and I loved it! I'm ready for cooler temperatures anytime!!!!
