[Soapweed]

Moving some cattle. They are odds and ends, off colored, and we call them the "riff raff" bunch.

Now they are in a swamp and hard to see.

These are all two-year-old heifers and their calves.

They are strung out and going along good.

Excited to go through the gate. Going too fast for me to get a good count, so I decided to take a picture instead. :wink:

These are coming along more sedately.

This cedar corner post has been here for twelve years.

This type of gate lever works very well, and they are easy to open while being on a horse.

This isn't on our land, but is the remnants of an old corral. I helped the old bachelor that owned this place load out of this corral
on more than one occasion. He died in 1986.

They will be for sale this fall.

We have other heifers at a feed yard facility in central Nebraska, and picked up ten bulls that were with them on the last day of July.

I enjoyed the photos, Soapweed! Well mannered cows like always. I keep forgetting to get an American flag when I'm in town....I need to do that! I'm about to make my first wire gate....hayin' is done, time to build fence until the ground is frozen... . Thanks for sharing!
