Moving some cattle. They are odds and ends, off colored, and we call them the "riff raff" bunch.

Now they are in a swamp and hard to see.

Proud to be an American

Moving another bunch of cattle to the next pasture

These are all two-year-old heifers and their calves.

They are strung out and going along good.

The back end of the bunch

Excited to go through the gate. Going too fast for me to get a good count, so I decided to take a picture instead.

These are coming along more sedately.

This cedar corner post has been here for twelve years.

This type of gate lever works very well, and they are easy to open while being on a horse.

Good way to install stay wires

A gate that has stood the test of time quite commendably

This isn't on our land, but is the remnants of an old corral. I helped the old bachelor that owned this place load out of this corral
on more than one occasion. He died in 1986.

Another gate built twelve years ago

Yearling bred heifers

They will be for sale this fall.

We have other heifers at a feed yard facility in central Nebraska, and picked up ten bulls that were with them on the last day of July.

Good help to load the bulls

Met this contraption on our way home

But have no idea of what it might be
