EPA regs to raise gas prices

Senators from both sides of the aisle are warning that looming EPA regulations on gasoline could impose billions of dollars in additional costs on the industry and end up adding up to 25 cents to every gallon of gas.

The senators, in a letter this week to EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson, urged the agency to back off the yet-to-be-released regulations. Though the EPA has not yet issued any proposal, they claimed the agency is planning to call for a new requirement to reduce the sulfur content in gasoline.

When the EPA was founded, no state had an environmental program watchdog and were much needed.

Now every state has one.

years ago, there was a need to use sound science to clean up industry..

now industry just moves to another country because the regulatory burdens are to excessive.. and operate clean safe factories overseas..

by eliminating the agency and its laws would not cause more pollution as the liberals complain, just lessen the cost of compliance..

it is time to get rid of the compliance burden... where corporations have to prove they are in compliance.. (guilty until proven innocent policies)

and work on stopping real polluters.. (China)

Well said, Steve, and so true. We are at a disadvantage competing
with countries who don't have the same regulations that we do.
A grade school student could figure that out.
