If the courts are allowed to willy-nilly award huge sums for something that really isn't proven as the causation of damages, the rest of us will at best pay more, or not have products that we depend upon available.

I always love it when someone pulls out the "feed the world" line. What a load of crap. Harder and harder to even find someone who wants to farm. I know guys that thought they had retired only to have to start farming again. All that it would take is more of the money parasites like Monsatan siphons off and keep on the farm and in rural communities.

I agree that Monsanto is out for blood in many instances, but bogus lawsuits in the large millions are still wrong, and a dangerous precedent considering many chemicals that could be railroaded the same way, and there are generics. Farming without technology doesn't have great appeal, either, imo. The fact is we benefit from cheap corn, genetically engineered alfalfa and forages, etc....
