leaves a turn'n----walnuts hit the ground
acorns by the thousands----squirrls keep'n sound
the temp is getting colder----the horse can see his breath
as i add another jacket----so i don't freeze to death
Fall is here----with a harvest moon
a sign of winter----will come to soon
cattle roundups----trips to the bank
hay'ns over----gotta check the tank
cut some wood----fire up the stove
put on some coffee----in my man cove
grab a book----pet the dog
time is soon----for another log
i love the fall----and winter too
the days are short----with lots to do
as i listen----to the wind blow
spring will soon be here----with baby calves and melted snow!!
