One of the eight sturgeon we caught in the South Saskatchewan River

This nice walleye (32 inches long) caught the same day.
Sorry no weights because we like to catch and release with as little handling as possible.

Nice fish! I've been wanting to go one more time, but fall work has kept us busy. Tomorrow sounds like it's going to be the last nice day around here, and I'll be stuck in a tractor hauling shirt. Question, were you fishing from shore? Probably not, by the looks of the pictures. All we ever catch are jacks, some day I'd like to pull in a big fat pickerel like the one in your picture.

We were bottom fishing from the boat. My brother in law caught that big walleye on a small minnow. Those big old pickerel are sure fun ,but the sturgeon put up the big fight.

We use pickerel rigs on the bottom with worms and minnows. This particular fish was caught on the minnow baited hook.

Awesome fish pictures!!!

Summer before last I went Salmon fishing in the pacific ocean and it was AWESOME.

Bass fishing at the lake or even sunfish fishing is fun it's the thrill of hooking one!
