Soapweed, as a longtime lurker on this site, I have always much enjoyed your pictures. Turns out as I was strolling through the Civic Center yesterday, I saw a couple of guys that looked awfully familiar sitting in a back corner watching the kids (I would assume their brides were lighting up the trade show with their credit cards)

At any rate as I walked past I thought well there's Sparky and the Kosmo Kid. Wouldn't have recognized them had it not been for all the pictures over the years.

By the way, I thought about stopping to introduce myself, but it appeared that the little ones were in full nap mode and I didn't want to upset the apple cart.

Long Pines, you should have introduced yourself. The boys would have enjoyed meeting you. I was not too far away myself, and eventually caught up with them. We had a fun day at the Stock Show. Did you happen to see the little ponies on roller skates, that are propelled by the kid riding them? They even "neck rein." I'd gone so long without horse trading, that I had to dicker the gentleman out of a couple of the ponies. They will be shipped UPS next week. I think the little grandkids will have a blast with the ponies, and it won't be long before the twins can have their turns.

While those ponies might neck rein they don't have a very good stop. They will run away down hill. My nephew found that out.

Knowing these two, they might even have a run-away on level ground. :-)

Yes, we did see the little ponies. Thankfully all my kids are past that age and we don't have any grandbabies yet. A few years down the road we may have to look that fellow up.
