My son is 24 and a big fan of "old country" his faves being Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings, reason being my first grandchilds name is Waylon, nice seeing these younger people appreciating the old stuff!! That being said I like the tribute song to my fav Chris Ladoix by Garth Brooks anyone here that one!!

my hubby and i are both HUGE chris ladoux fans!! had his song "look at you girl" at our wedding!! What a tragic loss to the country industry!! However, i do not think i have heard the song you mentioned!! sure would like to!
by the way, murgen....i am also a lifelong fan of charlie pride....grew up listening to "mountain of love" and "kiss an angel"....truly a gem!!

I picked up the Martina McBride CD today...at Walmart, no less.

I don't generally go there, but couldn't find it any place else.

Yup, it's good. Thanks for letting us know about it.

BTW, in talking about it today with a friend of mine, I mentioned the Mavericks. She said the lead singer of the Maverics was married to Trisha Yearwood.

Now, is Trisha Yearwood married to Garth Brooks?

I'm not a big garth fan either BUT any tribute to Chris is nu.1 in my books!! Was ordering Chris's music when you could only get it on 8 track, the Garth song kinda reminded me of Chris's more rocky stuff! Miss him

Yeah, I miss him too, and I don't like Garth either. The song is ok though. I liked Chris's music better before Garth got to him.
