Now that summer is coming this week it's time to clean out the camera and make way for Summer pictures.
Seems like summer already with all the livestock worked and moved to summer pastures and most of the alfalfa cut and baled. The west side of the ranch has recieved some wonderfull rains and even some much needed runoff, where as the rest has just managed to catch a few good showers. What a difference a couple of miles make!

Happy fathers day all and have a great summer!

Wow! You sure got some great shots there! Being in the right place at the right time is key! The snake shot is a little scary..but good..I love the red flower against the skyline...that's a classic...You need to take more pictures to post here..I love em...

Great shots! I love cactus flowers! Nice country, cows and sunset. Glad we don't have snakes here! We could however send you some mountain gophers to breed some size into your gopher stock.....

Thanks for the compliments everyone! Not hard to take good pictures this spring.

DJL--- I think I'd rather have your bigger Mountain gophers then our prairie dogs. Bet they don't spread as fast as these critters.

Jassy-- I take plenty of pictures. Just finding time this busy part of the season to download and post is another thing.

Folks--I take care of all the rattlesnakes I come across. Safely--none of that Steve Irwin stuff from me.

Julie---Welcome aboard, sure enjoy your great photos from your neck of the woods!

Big Muddy--As long a person stays a few feet away from those rattlers they can't do too much damage. I respect them plenty. ps: Also I do use a litte zoom!

--Thanks again EP.

Empty Pockets, you bugger! You have been holding out on us. It's no fair to save the pictures up. Makes the rest of us look bad. :-) My whole family was very impressed with your pictures. Tap Jr. like the rattlesnake picture best. Go figure. He isn't related to me. :!:

Tap, When you only take a good picture only once in a while you have to save em' up. Must be the sheep herder in me, like to bunch things up!

One thing you might find interesting, is the fourth picture down from the top is called Tipperary. Don't know how it got it's name but it's been called that forever I guess. All I know is we're quite a ways from your country.

Yesterday my youngest nephew was telling me how he really liked the snake picture also. Must be a young fellar thing.

Glad your whole family enjoyed them, you also FH, thanks!---EP

A fine collection of interesting pictures...except for that snake. did he taste like chicken?
the wildflowers are beauties, Empty Pockets.
