Fast And Furious--Updated with after the storm pictures

We just had a heck of a rain/hail storm move through here............half an inch in one gauge, 6/10 in the other.......water standing everywhere.........all in about 15 minutes. :shock:

Here are a couple of pics I took, through the windows, of the approaching storm:

I have a few "after" shots, but can't get them to load on the computer.

Ok, I'm back, finally got the pictures on the computer, after I saved all the others to CD and deleted them all (one by one, which was a pretty time-consuming job) and they loaded just fine! So, here they are:

The trail up to the barn

The trail coming around the corner of the house

The "lake" out by where we park

My poor little petunias look a little bedraggled after the hail

The front gate and its puddle

The "flood" out by the trailer

And finally, the flooded corral

here is one from our front door yesterday, uploaded more in the photo gallery but have not got the hang of putting mutiple pictures on a post yet. Its clouded up and talking to us again today, have to see what happens.

Great pictures you guys. Now that we had some rain, I don't mind seeing your big rains. lol. Your areas really look great. :!: Is that a river, or just a flooding dry stream bed, in the picture in the photo gallery nenmrancher?

I sure hope the horse in the second picture gets unsaddled soon.... she is looking a little tired

Tap, That is a small creek that runs next to our headquarters. It is a very lazy moving deal with some fairly deep holes that in places used to run year round and in others it goes underground and the bed stays dry most of the time. It has two creeks that come together above the houses that feed out of some timber and foot hill country. It sure can get going when the rain hits both creeks that was just a little run from one creek. Spent most of yesterday fixing flood gaps, sure is nice to have to worry about them again.

:lol: :lol: :lol: That horse has been "saddled" for at least 12 years that I know of personally...........we got it for Al when he was about 4, and it's still in great shape.
