Last summer we used CIDR's to syncronize our heifers and mass bred them in one day. We got 61% to settle leaving us with 118 heifers to calve. I've never bred heifers this way before and I predicted 2 weeks ago today that they would be done calving by their due date. Well today is their due date and as of last night there was 1 left to calve. It would have been a piece of cake if we wouldn't have had that storm last week. We only had to pull 1 backwards one and one other. Ole river rat never lets me down.

I better go check that last one.

That's great that it worked so well, other than the weather. I've thought of using them myself, just haven't got after it.

I just turned the bulls out and we are half done on 80 heifers in 5 days. Don't want them any faster than that. The heifer bulls we bought last year are sure trouble free.

The heifer bull I used has'nt been free of trouble.He's a cow bull only
