Maybe you will read this to late, but what lot # is that sorrel? I lost track of my days and just realized the sale was today. When I looked a few days ago, i couldn't find him.

No, I didn't get him. The closest I got was being able to hear the auctioneer in the back ground over the phone. the rep. that i was talking to when he was in the ring said the horse was far from green and was showing really well. I was willing to bet the horse had a little to much chrome to stay in my price range. it sounded like he was a very nice young horse.

I just got back and found this thread. Justin is right.
My daughter said the people that bought him have 3 little girls and
she told them after the sale that he was not a kids horse...yet.
The man said he understood that, and would ride him himself til
he was ready. So that was good.

Did you bid on him on the phone, Justin?

He was a real nice horse. She said she forgot to show the crowd that
when she squeezed him with her legs that he would drop his head
to the ground. But most people wouldn't understand what that meant,
anyway.

She was disappointed in what he brought, as the horses they took
last year both brought $4500. She thought maybe his size had some to
do with it, as he was smaller--even tho he didn't feel small when you
rode him.

Thanks for checking him out, Justin. I wish you could have seen how
well broke she had him. Probably more broke than the 'green horse' part of the sale they put him in.

And thanks to the nice folks here for getting him the lot #!!!!

FH, I'm now wishing I would have pushed that horse a little harder. My wife fell in love with him when I showed her. She is looking for a young horse to goat ty off of and break away, plus our rodeo horses have to do thier share around the ranch too. He looked like he probably would have been the ticket. But with these recent spring storms and losing some calves, I just didn't want to stick my neck out to far. I guess ya win some, loss some...but I've thought alot about that horse in the last day and a half
