Favre Sets New TD Mark

we might be leaving out that Montana guy. I wish Archie Manning would have played on a decent team because we 'll never know how good he was playing on his back all the time.

to place it all on the QB is a bit unfair. it takes the TEAM.
no line, lots of sacks. no recievers, lots of drops, no running back, one sided game, thus more ints.

prime example Barry Sanders. if he had a line like Riggins got in Washington!!!

Or if Montana did not have Craig, or Rice!

I agree,so that being said who is the one qb you would pick in his prime as the best to play the game?....It is hands down MARINO!!!!!!....

Yep- I guess I'm seasoned   I remember the first time I saw Blanda and most those guys were on the newsreels at the Saturday matinee--my favorite part of the show- before anyone had TV's...They would have news clips on all the top college players and some of the pros....

Now my favorite QB- turned announcer would have to be Dandy Don Meridith hands down...I wasn't much of a Howard Cosell fan, but I sometimes enjoyed listening to him get drunker as the night went on...A couple of those nights- you could barely understand him by the time the game ended....I remember on night when he was clearly pickled- Dandy Don made a comment about "he thought Howards lights might already be turned out"....

Jiggsy it must be Sunflower week, there you go picking on the Kansas boy. Riggo was a stud, but a much different back than Sanders. Sanders vs Emmet is a better comparison. I played against Sanders. He is very very likeable, but who knew he was that good. Still I'm still mad he got out of Kansas
