Couple of bull buying trips and a little bit of calving season over the past month.

Guy from Kansas we bought a pair of bulls from this past weekend. Basically all Schaff genetics run in an extremely rough environment in Western Kansas.

How much does that "custom feeding" cost ya? Seems like it might be awful expensive to do? What are the specs of the program?

Feed cost on these calves has been between $1.00 to 1.10 a day. This includes .35 cents a day yardage. He doesn't guarantee any performance but does do a good job of having a consistent ration that they grow well on. The cost really is pretty close to what we can do at home, maybe even cheaper.
