Just amazing to me how you guys can push your cows in a corner and sort. Up here we can push our cows in the corner, then spend the rest of the day gathering them out of the neighbors fields and fixing the corner.

Fine work being displayed! Thanks! That shadow looks like you are holding a newborn baby belly down in the crook of your arm feet out trying to get it to burp..... . I've really had to do that while sorting heavies......just kidden.....I wasn't sorting heavies at the time....

Our cattle get a lot of inadvertant "gentling down" time. They are used to saddle horses, pickups, Polars Rangers, and pedestrians. They don't get any exposure to would-be "cow dogs." All joking aside, I think the fact there are no dogs around is why we can get by sorting in some of our less-than-pristine rinky-dink set-ups. :wink: We also maintain a fairly rigorous culling program on the woofy ones.
