Feeder market sure dropped this week.

Paper cowboys having fun in the US. Our market was off $15 this week. Cows and bulls steady.

And paper boys have it up the limit today. I've seen some classes of calves drop about .75 the last month. Wasn't long ago a good 5wt would bring $3 saw several this week $1.80-.90. IMO the packers are getting cattle bought right then it'll go back up. Strong dollar hurting us down here as well.

These huge fed cattle that are coming to slaughter are putting a lot of extra beef into a weak market! When the feeders get current the market should stabilize a little.

This week my open Hfrs weighed 802 and brought $2.28/lb the day I sold my strs Sept 4 Hfrs that weight brought $ 2.50 or better.

All I need to do is convert my calf sales to Canadian Dollar to feel better? ;-}
