Fence for the Yard

We have had miserable wind for a week! :mad: Blew the shingles off my Brother's roof. Throw in a hard frost three nights ago that thumped our garden and killed the alfalfa for the year and it's been downright grumpy around here. But we did get 11 drops of rain last night so it's all good! :roll: :wink: :D 3rd crop is just a happy dream out here. About once every 6 years or so we cut and bale 3rd crop. The rest of the time it makes late fall grazing. Such is life! :wink:

lot of 2nd crop down here they guys that poured the water to it looks pretty good , the rest looks like it need a really big rake. mine wasn't worth cutting, rain will sofen the grass up high move those cows up out of the bottoms

We still need to get our new fence done around the home before winter. I cannot wait to get that ugly white picket fence out of here. Wish we had some of that cedar to use here, so it will be treated pine instead.
 
Nice looking fence ya built...very similiar to ours other than we staggered the horizontal poles..don't know why we did it that way..just seemed like a good idea at the time...seeing your little helper reminds me of my kid at that age when he always wanted to help..and of course we let him, little did he know that he was cheap labor for many years...lol Now it seems like we're the ones driving to where he is to help him out now! lol Life was so much easier back then..lol
