Y'all don't look any better off than we are. We are at 38 days since the last rain.

Cows are still holding condition but I'm feeding every day now and probably going to have to up the amount I have been feeding.

Looks like you are walking a fine line on the cowpies. I hate to think about having to buy some supplement. I've got some oats and ryegrass still living but just barely.

Jersey
Cow looks good the only think that would make them look better is if they were standing in a foot of snow like ours are. I am kind of jealous I won't see bare ground till May.

We will soon be adding the liquid supplement into those lick tanks.

We've had a little rain in the last week or so....but it's not gonna do much good now that the grass has gone dormant. But we'll take all we can get because tanks are steadily goin dry.

Considering that we're getting our first blizzard of the season...your sunny dry ground looks good compared to us..lol Yur cows always look content and happy no matter what color the grass is!...TP looks so full that he doesn't want to move! lol

Lilly, your cows look pretty good, considering! The liguid feed and hay will get them through. I'm about 2 hours west of you and we have had the same dry conditions (burn bans every week!) with no rain in the forecast. Well, there's always rain in the forecast but it seems to disappear about two days befor eit supposed to happen. My cows are almost eating dirt!
