Finishing cattle this year

I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea on whats its costing to finsih cattle this year in feedlots? Any help would appreicated.

What it is costing? Or what custom lots are charging?

I have heard custom rates at $2 + per day. About 70 cents a pound.

Costs are around 40 cents depending on costs included.

I was looking at custom lots and what they are charging. We have a bunch we are looking at shipping out to feed. Do you know Jason how many lbs a day they are basing that on? Thanks for the info

I just checked my last bill-1.92/day on 10- weight steers-I'm guessing they're doing about 3.25-3.5/lbs/day

Pounds of feed per day? Most of the guys here just get them adjusted and feed them all they will clean up. They monitor the feed consumption and charge a set price for what is eaten.

The $2 seems to cover most steers.
