A neighbor of ours, been gone 15 years or so now, told me he was ruuning his trotlines on Lake Livingston not far from here, when he ran across a nice whitetail buck swimming across the lake. He musta got turned around cause he was headed out acrocss part of the lake where it was pretty wide. He said it was pretty exhausted so he grabs him by the horns and he just let him drag him with no resistance. When the bucks feet touched bottom near the bank he turned WILD again so he let him go and he headed for the bank and hit the beach and Hauled @$$ !
