Has anyone got out this winter yet?

I just got back from a trip last weekend. We stayed in the shack for two days, ate slept and fished in it. The first day we just caught small stuff... no perch over a pound and a couple three pound pike. Second day was a couple perch closer to two pounds some smaller ones, a small walleye and an 18 pound pike. Over the course of the weekend my little brother and I put seven whitefish in the cooler.

The weekend before my buddy and I fished on a lake noone fishes on. We came home with our 50 perch... smallest we kept was just over a pound.

Jigs have you ever watched Grumpy Old Men?

Many of these "Ice Huts" are getting pretty swanky. Guys usually eat and drink more fishing on ice in all the comforts of home. Safer too. Never heard of anybody falling over board ice fishing. :lol:

No, but if the fish weren't biting, you could fall over bored. :wink:

there are a few guys here who ice fih, but we do not keep the ice long enough that anyone invests in the huts.... that would make a lot of difference, if I had a hut.
