Florida swamp land for sale

Mud in the spring must be a unique yet wonderful situation down there though. We got invited to P'Wood grad but will be chasing hockey players that weekend it looks like.

When the dog jumps in the cab like he is suppose to, you will see the real "big muddy".

I've got a 2 ft. dogchain welded in the box of my truck muddy dog's ride in the back.

I'm nervous walking in the corral. If the quicksand don't get me(sloppy s***)
a gator might.

Heres some weather trivia:

.CLIMATE...
WE ARE NOW HAVING THE 10TH DAY IN A ROW WITH MEASURABLE RAINFALL
IN GLASGOW. THIS TIES FOR THE 2ND LONGEST SUCH STREAK EVER
...ALSO
OCCURRING IN JAN 2004 AND AUG-SEP 1951. THE LONGEST STREAK OF DAYS
WITH MEASURABLE RAINFALL IS 12 DAYS IN MAY-JUNE 1906.

Rain/Snain shower after shower today here....Some really dump....
Son is helping neighbor haul out cows by stock trailer (couldn't get semis in) today-- and he says even with the gravel its pretty slimey getting backed up to the chute...

If you believe in the "90 days past the fog brings moisture"--You better get out there scouting up some Gopher wood...  :P

I feel your pain BMR, the other day my boots got stuck and I just about went face first in the poopy mud. Thank God my favorite cow was near by and I quickly grabbed onto her tail . I think I would still be scrubbing all that muck off . How many times do you think you would have to brush your teeth to get that taste out of your mouth..

Well Big Muddy-- you have more on the way...Rained during the nite- and all morning-- and now moving your way...Only got about a tenth more--but it was enough to make everything sloppy again....

It's here. :D

Really hard to complain about moisture when at times it can seem like a year between good rains. :?

Well when I checked-- we actually got a 1/4 of an inch at the North Place :)

And from the latest weather forecast it looks like a guy should be able to watch the grass as it grows this week... :)

LONG TERM- TUES THRU SATURDAY
THE VERY COOL AND WET PATTERN OF THE PAST COUPLE OF WEEKS WILL END
DUE TO A MAJOR LARGE-SCALE PATTERN CHANGE
. A CLOSED UPPER LOW IS
MOVING WELL TO OUR S...THRU THE SW STATES EARLY IN THE PERIOD.
THIS WILL ALLOW FOR RISING 500 MB HEIGHTS AND A RESULTING SLOW
WARMING TREND OVER OUR AREA WITH DRY WEATHER AND LOTS OF SUNSHINE.
THIS PATTERN WILL ALSO RESULT IN LIGHTER THAN NORMAL WINDS.

That sounds just about perfect, OT. Where did you find that information?
I would sure like to read the part about lighter than
normal winds
for our area. I'm so tired of wind. It finally
has gone down this afternoon.

I got it off the NOAA site for Northeast Montana--but in looking at the weather sites it looks like except for you guys having a little chance of a shower off and on during the week-- the jet stream is going further south-- and will take the wet and wind with it to the Wyo, NB, Colorado folks....

But where does it tell you about the decreasing wind?

On the forecast discussion- where the weather guessers put their reasons for why they are forecasting...Best spot to get an idea of how sure they are...

AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GLASGOW MT
230 PM MDT SUN MAY 9 2010

.SHORT TERM...FOR NORTHEAST MONTANA...TONIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY...

THIS EVENING... CONVECTIVE RAIN SHOWERS HAVE BEGUN TO FORM ACROSS
THE WESTERN PORTIONS OF THE CWA IN PHILLIPS... PETROLEUM... AND
GARFIELD COUNTIES THIS AFTERNOON ALONG THE LEE SIDE SURFACE
TROUGH. SMALL HAIL... LIGHTNING... AND BRIEF GUSTY WINDS MAY BE
POSSIBLE WITH AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS THAT DO DEVELOP AND MOVE
ACROSS THE REGION THIS EVENING. CONVECTION IS EXPECTED TO
DISSIPATE DRAMATICALLY AFTER SUNDOWN WITH LACK OF AN ADEQUATELY
STRONG UPPER AIR SUPPORT MECHANISM.

A SLIGHT CHANCE EXIST FOR AREAS OF PATCHY FOG TONIGHT AS MODELS
ARE INDICATING ADEQUATE RESIDUAL MOISTURE FROM THE PASSING EVENING
SHOWERS WITH MINIMAL WIND AND SUBSIDENCE OVERHEAD. BEST PLACES FOR
FOG DEVELOPMENT WILL BE IN LOW LYING VALLEYS CREEKS AND STREAMS TO
THE EAST OF THE SURFACE TROUGH AND TO THE WEST OF ANY CLOUD COVER
THAT EXITS OVERNIGHT AFTER THE INVERSION SETS UP. THIS CREATES A
VERY NARROW CORRIDOR TOWARD THE CENTER OF THE CWA. TO GO ANY
FURTHER WEST WOULD ALLOW MOISTURE TO BE MIXED OUT TO THE FREE
ATMOSPHERE AND ANY FURTHER EAST WOULD LET CLOUDS RETARD RADIATION.

MONDAY MORNING THROUGH TUESDAY... A RAPID MOVING FLATTENED RIDGE WILL
TREK THROUGH AND EXIT THE REGION BY MONDAY NIGHT. THIS FLATTENED RIDGE
IS EXPECTED TO MORPH INTO THE NORTHERN EXTENT OF A SPLIT FLOW AS
LOW PRESSURE OFF OF THE CALIFORNIA COAST BARRELS DOWN INTO
COLORADO LEAVING NEMONT SANDWICHED IN BETWEEN. COUPLE THIS WITH
RISING 850 MB TEMPERATURES IN A SPREAD OF 4*C TO 8*C... AND WARMER
AND DRIER WEATHER CONDITIONS WITH VARIABLY CLOUDY SKIES ARE ANTICIPATED.
GAH

.LONG TERM...TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY...
GOING FORECAST WAS IN GOOD SHAPE. ONLY CHANGES MADE WERE IN
RELATION TO 5H LOW EJECTING NORTHEAST FROM THE CENTRAL ROCKIES
ABOUT THURSDAY FOR THE SOUTHEAST ZONES. REMOVED MENTION OF WEATHER
ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SYSTEM AS MODELS SEEM TO BE TRENDING TOWARD A
DRIER SOLUTION BUT DID KEEP LOW TEEN POPS. OTHERWISE ADJUSTED
WINDS A BIT OVER THE EAST TO EASE CONSISTENCY PROBLEMS. REST OF
FORECAST LOOKED GOOD. JAMBA

PREVIOUS DISCUSSION...
THE VERY COOL AND WET PATTERN OF THE PAST COUPLE OF WEEKS WILL END

MOVING WELL TO OUR S...THRU THE SW STATES EARLY IN THE PERIOD.
THIS WILL ALLOW FOR RISING 500 MB HEIGHTS AND A RESULTING SLOW

THIS PATTERN WILL ALSO RESULT IN LIGHTER THAN NORMAL WINDS.

MODELS LIFT THE UPPER LOW NE INTO THE N PLAINS STATES ABOUT THU.
WHILE MOST MODELS KEEP PRECIP TO OUR SE...THE 12Z ECMWF WAS MORE
THREATENING AND FARTHER W THAN OTHER RUNS OR MODELS. SOME OF THE DGEX
RUNS HAVE APPEARED MORE THREATENING TOO...BUT NEARLY ALL RECENT
GFS RUNS HAVE KEPT THE PRECIP TO OUR E AND VERIFIED BY CONSISTENT
ENSEMBLES. THIS SYSTEM THOUGH WILL BE CLOSE ENOUGH FOR MINIMAL
SLIGHT CHANCE POPS FOR 2 PERIODS THU/THU NIGHT IN OUR SE.

WEAK UPPER FLOW PATTERN RESULTS IN SOME ODD-LOOKING UPPER
FEATURES LATE IN THE PERIOD. SOME MODELS INDICATE THERE COULD BE
WEAK LOW PRESSURE ALOFT FORM OVER THE AREA. THIS COULD GENERATE A
FEW SHOWERS...BUT TOO VAGUE TO GO WITH ANY SIGNIFICANT POPS ABOVE 10
PCT YET. WACKY-LOOKING AT TIMES DGEX IS REJECTED AS IT GENERATES A
LOT OF UNREALISTIC COOLING AS WELL...WITH HIGHS ONLY IN THE 40S ON
SUNDAY...WHILE MOST OTHER MODELS ARE A LOT WARMER. SIMONSEN

&&

.AVIATION...
LOW VFR/MVFR CEILINGS LIFTING THIS AFTERNOON WILL CONTINUE THE
IMPROVING TREND WITH MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES EXPECTED TONIGHT. WITH
LIGHT WINDS AND ABUNDANT GROUND MOISTURE...THERE IS AN OUTSIDE
CHANCE OF MVFR FOG DEVELOPING IN VALLEY AIRPORTS LATE TONIGHT
(I.E. KOLF AND KSDY). ANY FOG WILL QUICKLY BURN OFF MONDAY
MORNING. OTHERWISE...MAINLY CLEAR CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED MONDAY
WITH NW WINDS 15 KTS OR LESS. JAMBA
