OK. It is now officially spring. I went out to feed the cows at the crack of dawn as usual. This morning I didn't put a coat on for the first time in months. It was up to 38 degrees and is supposed to hit 70 today. I am going to start irrigating this afternoon. The shift from winter chores to summer chores is about to begin.

Good thing I started irrigating yesterday. It is pouring out there this morning and from the looks of the driveway it rained hard during the night. There was a 50% chance of light showers. Once again the weather guessers missed it.
One of the neighbors has a branding scheduled for today. I think that might need to be canceled. Oh well I am busy with other things and wasn't going.

The best reason to cancel a branding: RAIN!!

You are irrigating because it has been dry with not much chance of rain and not much chance of this wind abating. It's like when we mow our swamps and get 2" on a 0% chance. 😂
Congratulations on the good rain!!!
