Oats and peas, this was the best of them. We elected to not pack sprinkler pipe this year, only 3.6" of rain and some of the crop wasn't much.

Our Big Meadow at home baled a new record crop of 392 bales from the old one of 350.

2 days cutting left at the Upper meadow that is also baling a new record crop. Then about 900 bales left to yard.

Those oats and peas look top notch. :D

You will be able to spin them out a bit at a time for the calves. :D

They make terrific calf feed.

Can't spin them off a bit at a time. The cows or calves push the tractor so they unroll quicker!

Looks like you cut them at about optimum protein stage. They sure got some push to them.

Looks good. Maybe your good enough not to use a tester, but what moisture did you bale it at? Thanks.

This year the stars were lined up right and gave us a few days to wilt and dry down some. Most of this was baled at 35-40% moisture.

Most years as soon as the oats start going down the skies start to cloud up. We have baled oats and peas at 72%. These bales were 5' wide and 48" high and weighed 2200lbs. Don't want to tackle a baler plugging mess like that again.
