Found the Mother Load....

of wild plums!!!!! So for the past couple weeks, I've been makin trips to the spots I've found pickin plums like a mad woman. Now it's time to cook them and make them into jelly. Made the peaches into jelly first. Then started cookin plums. I've been cookin them for the last two days.

Peach Jelly turned out real perdy! (still have another batch of it to make)

Wild red plums in the pot....(Makes the BEST jelly ever!)

Wild yellow plums in the pot...(I've never had these before....first time I'd seen them...but what the heck...give it a go and see what the jelly tastes like)

Actually ya'll....we are making most of this jelly to sell to help raise funds to get her to NBHA Youth World in Jackson Mississippi next month.

I will keep some of it for us....give some to the inlaws of course....then sell as much of the rest as I can. Or..I should say "WE". She's helped me pick.....and helped me cook some of them. So I'll let her do some of the selling too.

I've got a small really bent out of shape plum tree....I need to check it this weekend. Seems critters always get them before I do. I may need your recipe.
