Now you have pissed me off. Holidays and Rishels are well respected cattle producers in the black angus world and their cattle can perform in harsh unpampered environments. How do I know?? Because we do not pamper our cattle. Both of these genetics have been added into Kolas families angus.

Go ahead raise Pharo cattle if they look like crap in this pampered Nebraska environment you can guess how they are gonna look there.

I know how they look here. Fat, healthy, and raising big calves. You can hold your opinion of your cattle. I'm allowed to hold my opinion of mine. My goal is to be respected in the cattle world. But I myself am sorta like Kit. You either love or you hate me. We don't need to go any farther.

I hope you're not becoming closed minded. I wouldn't put all your faith in Kit's philosophy. There's a fella not to far from you in SE Colorado who has done the exact opposite of Kit. He's utilizing all of his pasture during growing season and feeding a TMR (total mixed ration) the rest of the year. By doing so he doubled his cow herd and has virtually the same expenses/cow, as when he saved pasture for winter use and had to feed cake every day.

Not one person's philosophy is the be all and end all of being a successful rancher.

I understand. I use other genetics than what Kit has. But I am simply stating that what has become today's Angus won't work here. How do In know? My dad personally tested some "excellent" Angus genetics and hasn't bought them since. No offense to Kola.

When said wad is operational, KooKoo forgets all about personal hygeine, (shaving, plucking, bathing, etc.) :shock: Now that KooKoo is wondering around looking and smelling like a bush woman of tha Kalahari, just how dam hard do you think it's going to be for Jigs to seek her love, comfort, and support after the Big Red whop the living crap out of the Kansas State Mildcats today??? :lol: Snuggling up to something that smells like the deadwagon in August, with whiskers, to seek aid and comfort is about the hardest thing a man could do. :shock:
