Had to check out the stock on hand at the Brighton Feed and Saddlery while in the vicinity.

Nice to see puddles. Is the wind reliable enough not to need the puddles? Is foot-rot a problem because of the sand or the wetness or something else?

Last year the puddles all dried up, so we had to depend entirely upon the wind. Realistically speaking, the wind doesn't let us down very often. Portable pumpjacks usually solve the problem when the wind doesn't blow, or we just move the cattle to another pasture that has full tanks of water.

Foot rot is sometimes a problem, but most of the time is not. Extra water in the pastures is often the cause of the malady.

You musta just missed my parents, aunt and uncle they were all at Brighton Feed over the weekend also.

Hey Soap, you all cleaned up real nice....good pictures.

Say, that tall guy wearing the black suit jacket, 3rd from the bottom, sure looks like the guy that was driving his antique pickup to Gordon the other day and the gas gauge didn't work  . I'm pretty sure he said that it used to be his grandpas pickup, which would make it even more of an heirloom. Imagine having a grandpa that didn't totally destroy almost every vehicle he ever had.
