Happy Fourth of July :!: :!: :!: :!: Glad to be in AMERICA!!

Hope everyone is enjoying their day, be it ranchin or playin. I have been sortin for a rummage sale  , but now we are gettin ready to go to Martin to watch fireworks. :D :-)

She's a real cutie.

Relatives all got together this evenin for fireworks, three lil girls 2 3 and 4 years old and one lil boy about a year old.......all the lil girls was squealin and cryin, lil fella as standin out in the yard, with his head thrown back.....sayin....boommmmmmmmm boommmmmmmm.........if one didnt go off soon enuff to suit him, he'd turn around and look at the grown ups and say.....Boom???

Thanks all.

Jersey, that is sooo funny. We are always astounded at how different little girls are than boys, naturally. With 3 boys and now a girl, whew, she came with a different kind of voice, screams were bred in, she is almost 2 and loves shoes, fixin hair, and BABIES, oh man, she is wonderful, but it's probably best she is to be the only girl. I feel bad for her, but I don't think we could survive another.  And she is still little. I am pretty much a tomboy and so all this girlie girl stuff is fun for now but I keep expecting her to stop it and start acting more like one of the boys.

The fireworks were great, for a small town, but halfway through the kids got tired, wanted to know when we were going home. (after naggin all day about when we were going to town) It was a nice evening.

What a darlin!!!!!!!!!

Lilly, your story reminds me of the way Rebel was taking the fireworks that have been going on for severa nights.........but he was like the girls, not the boy. He became very "attached" to his mom lately.......

LOL don't worry bout the girly girl stuff, I was the only girl with three older brothers too, went thru the girly girl stuff when I was really little, (I think mama forced it on me, red dresses, frills, and all) but there came a day, that I could dress myself, and all that stopped. Gimme a pair of jeans and a pair of boots any day. Lil Lilly went thru that stage too, but I went in her room one day, then decorated with pink flowers and lace, and she was packin her barbies and all the doll stuff in a box. Said she was thru with that, she was about 6 years old, after that she wanted her room redone.....and now it takes an act of congress to get her to be girly....the girl don't even wanna wear makeup. And if she has to for a special occasion, soon as we walk in the door she's runnin to go "Warsh this stuff offa my face"
Enjoy her while she's lil and girly.....they don't stay that way for long.

Ill testify to that-my sister just went through that stage-all I can say is yikes. I swear she has more stuff in there than I do smarts (ya i know i dont have a lot of those but thats besides the point) So now I have a sister with a dresser full of dresses and will only wear jeans. Her makeup is nowhere to be seen-she hid it so noone would get her to wear it. lol. I prefer ti this way-no more barbies and I get a lot of help with the cattle-for 2% of my steer cheque. lol.

I put makeup on at the lake the other day-as a dare, and yikes that gunk annoys the heck out of ya-I had to hjumop in the lake off the boat to get it off and boy didi it feel good, but I still got the nail polish-long story-dont ask how it all hjappened. lol.
