It was a balmy -8 this morning after a light snow last nite...made chores this morning a little brisk!

A little Frosty on the nose..

Sharing feed with calves and Turkeys!

One big happy family...

Looks a little on the cooler side of things.........BRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!

Hope ya thaw out pretty soon............and that baby does, too!

found a bay calf this morning...poor old ears were too cold to tag!

Gee jigs..sorry to hear about your calf...we lost many frozen ears last year..hope it don't happen again this year.

Ya know lilly...I ask myself that question many times during these cold cold days!!!! It's almost daylight when I leave the house...and the sun usually shows up eventually...lol

I do bleave if I had to get out before daylight to feed cows. I'd have me a hot thermos of coffee in the truck........a REAL BIG ONE.

That is a really cool picture tho...the cows before the sun came up....everything lookin blue, and COLD.
