Our highschool had it's athletic banquet last night. Ty went to receive a football award which was fine. They went through every sport from curling to badminton but refuse to mention the rodeo team. The boys travelled all over the province on their own dime and did a great job of representing their school. They're rational is that the can't be recognized because no teachers are involved coaching them. I guess if I buy my own trophy they'll put one in the trophy cabinet. It kind of downplays the effort those kids put out I think. It would been nice to mention that our little rodeo team produced one championship and two runnerups. Ok the vent is over.
