Fun with Ace

[Big Muddy rancher]

My youngest dog Ace is the one I got from Randiliana(sp) I think he's coming 2. He has always worked with the 2 older dogs but since i have the hfrs in a small catch behind the house and locking them up in the top pen for the night I take Ace with me to bring them in . We walk out about 8pm and gather them. The first night he seemed a little lost without his partners in crime but he seems to be enjoying just the two of us working together. Amazing how much better he is in just a few nights.

That's neat, and a good job for him. I personally don't like the 'pack' mentality in dogs. But our friends never work a single dog...each to their own. Keep us posted on his progress.

When i saw the title to this thread i figured spring fever had got to be too much for BMR and he'd started experimenting with horse drugs! :shock: Did you inhale? :???: Do we need a ranchers intervention? :lol: :lol:

Hey, that is awesome to hear! Glad he is working out well for you! The one pup we kept, jumped under the wheel of the truck one day when I was out checking cows. That hurt, he was really good and looked like he was going to make a great dog too!
