well i guess this is as good of a place as any to tell this little story i heard a few weeks ago. well this ole boy here in az thats well known for his savy on catchin wild cattle has got this wild cow contract way down in southern az and its real rough country well he decides he is wasting to much horse flesh and time leadin these maverics in one at a time after they catch them so he is gonna build him a horse drawn cow truck contraption ,well he had 3 or 4 younger guys workin for him at the time i guess and they went to work buildin this thing out of steel cause they dont want it fallin apart ,well they get this thing built and it takes every bit of 4 horses to pull the damn thing empty well they get that thing out to camp and the go to catchin cattle well they get a load caught and decide to go get the wagon and load these cows up and haul them back to the corrals well before they get to were they got the first cow treed they got this big long steep hill to go off of,well when they tips off the side of this thing its more than them horses can hold back so the get to runnin to stay ahead of this wagon well the boy drivin that tank is tryin to put the whoa on as hard as he can but them horse just cant stop it,well this other feller there he says he seen these john wayne movies were they guy rides up jumps on the team and stops the whole deal so he rides up jumps and misses the team and that damn wagon runs over the better half of his body well when the wagon gets to the bottom the whole damn thing just piles up in a heap and its a hell of a wreck well they get the horses cut loose and the wagon is upside down in the bottom of this dry wash and the ole boy drivin the wagon asks the guy that was horseback why in the hell would you even try that them horses couldnt stop that wagon even with you up there jerkin on their head ,well i dont knwo what the answer to that question was but its been years and years ago and i have never worked that part of the country down there but i guess a camp man down there says that wagon is still in a rusty heap there in the bottom of that wash ha ha ha .
