David Kruse of the Commstock Report says that cattle markets climb a wall of worry.

On one of the websites- one of the folks in the know more than me is predicting trade in fat cattle will be in the $173 to $178 cwt range by 3rd quarter... Hope he is right...

I do also think that will be contingent on if the multinational packers get their way and convince the USDA to throw caution to the wind and allow imports from a FMD infected country- Brazil...

i tend to agree. we all know that what goes up, must come down….at some point. i just hope the ride down isn't as steep as it is going up.

I wish I knew where it was....sold two weeks ago, and from the little I have watched on cattleusa in the last two days wish I would have fed them for just two more weeks.......

Sold our calves last Wednesday. Time will tell if that was smart or not. I was getting nervous and decided to let the next guy have a go at it. Hope he makes lots of money and wants more next year.
