 Yikes.....I won't complain again about our gas prices.

Just to add insult to injury, a there are 1.2 US gallons to 1 UK gallon, so you get more for your money :D .
I know it's all relative though and what is expensive to you is dirt cheap to me, at current exchange rates your gas prices seem to average £1.50 per gallon. :cry2:
I live in Canada,we don't measure by Gallon

What most people don't know is that Europe is so congested that you can literally walk to a town away in probably 20 minutes to a half hour and if you ride your bicycle it's even less. So your fuel prices aren't that bad. Live in the country in Canada or the US where you have to drive a minimum of 1-2 hours at time to even go grocery shopping it adds up in the end fuel is actually all relatively priced the same except maybe in Bahrain.

Also the amount of acres that are farmed <Canada and US> as compared to in Europe are very different .So fuel bills are probably the same when compared to each operation in the end.

Apples to bananas are hard to compare.

I am visiting my horse trainer friend in Aubrey, Texas.
Diesel is $3.37 here; gasoline is right under $3.00
I'm planning to meet up with Jersey Lilly and lil Lilly while I'm here.
Really looking forward to that!!!

Also we are going to the World QH Show on Sat. night and the NRHA
Finals on Sat. Dec.1.

I live in the country in England, OK it's a smaller country, I still have to put gas in the car to get to work. There is no public transport that will get me there. It's a half hour drive to my yard at work. It is an improvement I used to drive a 150 mile round trip for work. A bicycle is impractical, the road I drive is too dangerous. It may be fine to cycle in town but not any distance. So £4.50/gallon is still way too much, whichever way you look at it.
