After a week of wind and not much precip since the snow we are finding a few dry spots to make silage bales on. Another 200 bales and there will be a cushon for what we are keeping through the winter.
It is surprising how green our grass still is this late in the year. I guess all the moisture has kept it growing. There is still the odd tree that has green leaves.
Hayguy, I wore my cow/hayboy boots most of haying. You don't go too far other places and need Mucks to keep your feet dry.
