Genex has a rating for foot angle. Would you say that a shallow angle, would be a flatter footed animal?
I am not personally familiar with the Alliance 6595, but the owners say he had very good feet, when I asked about some sons and grandsons. Genex rates this bull off the chart with a shallow foot angle. Any thoughts here.

I'd say the Genex appraisal was bang on-I watched the bull walk before the charts came out and that was the first thought that came to my mind. A bull that is shallow heeled will walk a bit flatter footed-in some soil types and conditions that might be a nonissue but it gives me pause. I'm a terrible salesman here lol.

I would agree with NR and Genex. I have seen some daughters that are like that and I even own one.

If they are on flat ground with no rocks, I wouldn't worry too much. But if they have to walk around in hills, I'd pay a little more attention.

I will agree with you guys that the 6595 progeny are shallower heeled but the ones I have seen were long striding good moving individuals. My biggest concern would be on softer type ground their toes might grow out a little.
