Must say that I love his new CD, got it the other day and bout got ever song memorized.

I highly recomend it

George just seems to get better with time. I like how he still dresses up sticking to his clean cut pressed look.
 
Me too!!!!!! And he is one of the very few
that hasn't changed his wardrobe much in all these years.
Alan Jackson is pretty good, except for the worn-out knees of
his jeans.

Vince Gill is a clean-cut guy too.

And their music is just as good as these guys look!!

Really though has he ever made a bad album,plus hes real Purdy :pretty:
 
great CD, and if you want to mention looks then I have to say they put out a great line of clothing with his name on it. I wore a few of the LS shirts this week at work and recieved some compliments.

How about Texas Cookin'? Kinda catchy. How 'bout them cowgirls says Bangor, Maine in it, gotta like when my state gets mentioned.

Hopefully he'll tour in the North East next year again. I was in Iraq this last time.

One more thing, as far as singing goes, George himself said "It doesn't come natural" (to him)
 
Texas Cookin has been stuck in my head since I got the CD. Love that song also. But like others said I don't know that there is a bad song on it and I don't know that he's ever put out a CD I don't like.
 
I haven't gotten it...yet. But then again, I haven't been anywhere since it came out. But I will get it, haven't missed one yet since the first cassette way back in 1981.
I don't buy his greatest hits albums tho.......cuz I've already got all the songs.
 
George is on my Friends list on MySpace...........:D

I haven't heard the new CD, but he's been talkin it up for about a week, now. Next time I get somewhere that carries CDs, it's mine!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice to know there are so many fans of the same guys I like, here!
 
The thing I like most about George Strait, beside his music, he is / was a real rancher and Texas A&M grad before his off ranch job hit the big time. And, he still acts and looks the part. There is no drug store or conterfit in George Strait !!! Unlike most of todays popular Country Western " artist ". I can't even stand to look at most of them.
