Looking good, Soapweed.

Who is riding the palamino horse? I don't believe I've seen that horse before...

That is Brady's "one-eyed" horse. He is very well bred, with Sun Frost and others in the pedigree. While cavorting as a colt, a stick went through his eye.

Now, how big of an area is each bunch fenced into. I take it you don't want them to drift. Right?

We tried to get them all in close proximity to good wind protection. We couldn't lock some of the cattle into these places because they would be away from water. Having the wind out of the southeast didn't help in getting them to where they would be protected from the eventual northwest wind either. The protected areas vary in size, and right now the pairs are in ten different bunches. Hopefully we will have opportunity in the morning to secure individual bunches into the best places even if they will be locked away from water until the storm subsides.

Moisture is generally very welcome, but nice gentle rains always trump a spring blizzard.

You getting that storm yet Soapweed? We're on schedule to have it arrive at 1:00 p.m. today. Wonder if this storm will be more reliable to arrive than waiting on an airline to arrive on time?

Time will tell.

Stay safe to all who are in the path!

those yellow slickers in my country the first tree would reach out grab hold and rip a 90 degree tear.
only thing worse is to be riding the slicker on back and the big black clouds with a down pour comeing . It starts and you tie up under a tree and untie what you thought was a slicke but was a pair of yellow rain pants.

Better to be half dry than all wet.

There was a character in this country who found 1 good 4 buckle over-boot in the dump. Someone asked him why he was wearing only one his reply was that he felt it was more comfortable to have 1 warm foot than two cold, wet ones. :D

Don'tcha just love that kind of humor?

An older lady was in a local restaurant when some cell phones started to ring--and it sounded like they were in her possession. Someone asked her, "Kay, do you have two cell phones?"

She never missed a beat with her reply of, "Doesn't everybody?"
