&^*^%% Global Warming

Thats OK fh I have been mistaken for worse individuals. Heck that might even be a compliment. 8) If TTB was answering this she would probably say that we are both alike. (There is so much BS that they had to start two piles.)

Who won the football game Tap?

have a cold one (FH you be careful with yours)

Snowing here tonight, and yesterday a bit, and rain before that. Lousy weather for gathering cattle, but fire isn't a worry anymore!

1/4 inch this am, rain quit, started up again this eve, very light rain. I guess we'll see how cold it gets.... I really don't care, I'm just glad to see some RAIN

We've gotten .75 of rain since yesterday afternoon and now it has turned to snow. Just finished sorting the bred heifers before this started but it will be fun getting them on trucks this morning.

Just came in from going through the cows they are all holed up trying to stay out of the wind and snow :!: Have had an inch of rain since yesterday and it is still snowing and the flakes are getting bigger. Don't think any of it is going to stick but I think we can put the fire fighter away for another year. YYEEEEEEEEEEEEHHAAAAAAAAAAAA

...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY EVENING THROUGH
LATE SUNDAY NIGHT..

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BILLINGS HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY EVENING THROUGH
LATE SUNDAY NIGHT.

EXPECT RAIN TO MIX WITH OR CHANGE TO SNOW SATURDAY NIGHT...AND MAY
BECOME HEAVY AT TIMES THROUGH MUCH OF SUNDAY NIGHT. AT THIS POINT
IT IS DIFFICULT TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH SNOW WILL ACCUMULATE...DUE
TO THE WARM GROUND AND SURFACE TEMPERATURES ABOVE FREEZING...BUT
SEVERAL INCHES OF WET AND HEAVY SNOW ARE POSSIBLE. GREATEST
AMOUNTS WILL LIKELY BE OVER THE HIGHER RIDGES AND NEAR THE NORTH
DAKOTA BORDER WHERE TEMPERATURES WILL BE COLDEST. IN ADDITION TO
THE SNOW EXPECT A VERY STRONG NORTHWEST WIND...WITH GUSTS TO 50
MPH POSSIBLE FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD...FURTHER REDUCING
VISIBILITIES.

A WINTER STORM WATCH IS ISSUED WHEN SEVERE WINTER WEATHER IS
POSSIBLE BUT NOT IMMINENT. AT THIS TIME THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR
SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATIONS OF WET AND HEAVY SNOW. THE COMBINATION
OF SNOWFALL AND STRONG WINDS WILL RESULT IN THE RISK OF DOWNED
TREES AND POWER LINES. THOSE IN THE AREA SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR
HAZARDOUS WINTRY CONDITIONS THIS WEEKEND. PLEASE MONITOR THE
LATEST FORECASTS AND STATEMENTS FROM THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE.

Sheeeesh  , it's snowing here now  but we've already had over 1" rain :D All the cows think they're dying

Sounds like a hit and miss deal on the moisture. Glad you got some sw and Hanta Yo, and NR. It rained a little here while we were gone today, but darn little. I am still scared to burn our garbage barrel. I took the fire fighter out of my pickup, but that was more because I am tired of the pickup being tied up with it, and I have access to a fire truck. That should be winding down soon anyhow, but most of our biggest fires have been in Sept. and Oct. in the past, but a lot of them were not lightning fires.

You can add me to the waiting list FH and BMR. :(

Rained and the wind howled here all night- still raining lightly...Ended up with .3 that combined with the .45 we got the last 3 days gives us about 3/4 inch...At the north place they got .65 rain and have about 2" of wet snow on the ground in the grassy or sheltered areas--gives us a total of 1.1 inches there so far :D

34 degrees here right now- down to 32 at Opheim on the border, so Big Muddy might be hunting his woolies

Wet snow must have took some power lines down as the north place was out of power for about 4 hours-- They just got it back on a little after 8AM....

Crazy wind in the night and still.Got half an inch of rain. Got a call about 7 this morning I had cows headed down the hiway to Montana, they knocked the gate down where they bunched up in a fence corner.
