We will be selling a load of yearlings in Brooks, AB on Friday.
If you know anyone wanting 600 - 800 pound limo yearlings for grass, and some for the feedlot, let them know. These animals have been healthy all winter and are haired up real nice.
We normally sell all but our replacements, in the spring; however, this year we are going to grass some of these yearlings ourselves. This might help us to spread out the risk a bit more.
We've had good moisture conditions so far this spring. I don't think grasshoppers will be a problem either. Time to start another go round.
