They went to the sale today. Not many feeding chores tonight. In fact I just might skip them.

It's always a funny mixed up feeling when the calves go. The cash is nice but the almost empty pen ain't.

The calves went out 60 days later than last year, weighed up better as a result, but the extra $300/hd was as much about the price as the weight.

Now, another 6 years of this should get us back about even . . . :?
