Nice that you missed the devotional. I appreciate all the posts. I like How Great Thou Art about as well as any of them myself. I liked Taps post too. I appreciate all of you. Red Robin had it right. We had our youth group out to a Mystery Dinner on Saturday night. When it was over, I had a mesage on my cell from Mom. She is 93 and living alone. She had taken a nasty fall, so we delivered teens home, and beat it straight to town. My daughter had taken Mom to the Hospital. She had a broken back. We stayed all night and the day with her. I left Colorado Springs, and drove straight to Youth Group Sunday nite. We were late, and, being aware of our situation, one of our seniors had 14 teens (without adult supervision) sitting listening and participating in a discussion concerning the movie (Facing the Giants) that we had watched at the dinner party Saturday. We let him have the lesson, and I really felt like the Lord was working. Jan and I are so proud of these teens who behaved in such a mature manner, and didn't hesitate to tell em. The difference between them and teens raising cain and getting in trouble is the Lord. The Lord makes a difference in a teens life or a gray haired ol' man's life. That is what He does, and He is very good at it! Changing Lives I mean. Sure changed me. Have your selves a Good Monday Mornin', and a good rest of the week too. Ya might pray for wisdom for us as we face some uncharted waters regarding Mom.
