I haven't posted Good Sunday Mornin' in a long time, but on the way to church this am, I saw an illustration worth sharing. I was visiting with a neighbor earlier in the summer. It was dry, dry. He said he didn't know whether to plant or not. Last year was a crop failure, and the year before was mighty short. He said he didn't have a few thousand to put in the ground to blow away. He did plant, and it sprouted, then burned and revived – barely - a couple of times. Three weeks ago, it looked like he would have enough to hold the ground. Today it looks like a great crop. He'll make lots of feed. As we plant spiritual seeds, it often looks like wasted effort, but after the Lord finishes his work, we may see a great harvest. Be not weary in well doing……… Have a good Sunday mornin', and God bless.

Recently I have re-connected through Facebook with a man who helped Carol and I on the Spearhead Ranch back in the late 1980's. At the time he was a great kid, but quite a party animal, and slightly irresponsible with his financial affairs. He has turned in to a wonderful family man and person, and his daily bits of Christian wisdom have definitely been good for what ails me during my down time with the West Nile virus. He is very much a blessing in my life at this time. :-)
