Good Sunday Mornin,' friends. Three days, this last week, I needed to be 100 miles from home by a decent time. This meant being up, fed and doing chores before 0500 hours military time. I don't mind the hour, but I much prefer to have daylight to feed. The calves here at home are under artificial light, so that was no problem. I am caking the cows on range, so where will they be on this 850 acre piece? Of course, you cow people know this is not a problem either. My feed truck has no horn, but back-up lights are mounted on the head-ache rack. I stopped on a high spot with my head and back-up lights on and in a few minutes, I had found my cattle.
Sometimes, I hear folks say something like "I can't witness for the Lord." If you love the Lord, you can't help but be a witness! This world is hungry for something substantial, much like your cows are in December. Just park on a hill and let your light shine. If God has done anything for you, tell somebody—anybody. You'll be surprised at how many folks appreciate things like that. I know I do, and I know lots of you do too. If someone does have a problem with my loving the Lord, they just have a problem. Have yourselves a good Sunday mornin' and a good rest of the week.
