Christmas, 2006 will be here with a new dawn. May I wish you a Merry Christmas? As my good wife and I talked about what we wanted for Christmas, we came to the conclusion that the thing that mattered most to each of us was to have the family here. Our gift to each other would be to fly the kids in Wisconsin to Colorado for Christmas. Dave, Becky, Brenna, Kyle, and the new one, Luke are with us for Christmas. Thanks hon for the nice gift, and Merry Christmas to you! The whole family gathered at home--what else could be so grand? Now, what do you reckon might the Lord be looking forward to this good Sunday morning and Christmas day? Bet maybe if his children might all gather up and spend a little time with Him would be what would please Him most. Ought not the Patriarch of the clan be given the place of honor? You know He paid the fare for any one of us to come home in the shed blood of Jesus Christ. As your family gathers for the holidays, don't forget to include our Father, the giver of all good and perfect gifts. Perhaps you are alone this Christmas- your true Father would really like to spend Christmas with you. I remember many special times I spent alone with dad; I would chose time with him above anyone else. I truly do wish each of you that I know only thru this website, but have come to care about, a very special Christmas Day. Have yourselves good Sunday morning, a Merry Christmas, and a good rest of the week.

Thank you, Short grass and merry Christmas to you and your whole family. It is always amazing to think God just wants to spend time with His hard-headed, wayward and self-centered earthlings!

Merry Christmas to you Shortgrass (thoroughly enjoy your Sunday morning inspirations) and to all on this site.

Merry Christmas ...as i look at all the people around me christmas has become so materialistic....it just amazes me...your heart is so in the right place and you say your messages so well...As I work this holiday season taking care of the sick and ill, i'm so thankful i have family i can spend it with even if there faraway..as many of the people i take care of have no family to be with this xmas season...i thank god for the great family he has given each and everyone of us...May each and everyone of you have a very safe holiday season ...

Thank you very much, Shortgrass, for your Divinely Inspired words of thought and wisdom. You make such great points in such a minimum of words. To you and everyone else in our Ranchers.Net family, have a wonderful Merry Christmas and a fulfilling Happy New Year.

Wishing everyone blessings over Christmas and prosperity in the new year.
Shortgrass, I couldn't agree more! our two eldest flew in on Thursday, so we are all together for Christmas, the best present of all!
Other than a traditional Christmas dinner, we have no secular activities planned, just the service at church tomorrow, we have so much to be thankful for!

Thanks Shortgrass--Our clan is already gathering up here- each morning when I get up I just look out to see what new vehicles in the yard have shown up- and as of last count the kids are all here including a couple of adopted ones that had nowhere to go :-) So we should have a very Merry Christmas as I hope all do.....

Merry CHRISTmas, shortgrass and to all of the "family" here on Ranchers!!! My oldest is home with us and I can feel as though it is "complete"....not much under the tree (despite lots and lots of overtime), but as long as a I have those angelic faces to wake up to in the morning, I will be one happy mama!!! Nope, this is one nurse who will NOT be working Christmas....for the first time in 12 years!!!
:D :D :D :D :D My oldest (jon) passed his GED and will be shipping out for basic training on January 31st, so I need to spend time with him while I can!!!

Thanks again, shortgrass for your words of wisdom. Family is important to have around on Christmas. My oldest son came over on Friday spent the nite, went home late Sat afternoon.

Our marine called a little while ago. He's doing ok, on patrol today, sure can't wait to come home. He said to tell you all hi and thank you for your support and prayers. :)
