I have some really bad news. Last night America's favorite mountain, alias Pikes Peak got up and left. I have no idea where she went. As I made a trip into town, I had to just wing it on my own. The Peak usually serves as my guide, looming off to the west. The good news is that when the clouds move out, Pikes Peak will probably come back—it always does. We smile at the thought of a mountain moving around; we know that the mountain is right there where is always is even if we can't see it. Sometimes it seems as if God has moved when we face difficult situations. It seems as we have been forgotten or deserted by Him who has promised to never leave us or forsake us. He is more dependable that the Mountain He placed on its foundation. Often there is some clutter that is interfering with our view, and if we can just see through it He will be right there, steady and caring as ever. He is true to His word, as He will never leave us or forsake us—What a promise!! Well have yourselves a good Sunday Mornin' and good rest of the week too.

Thanks, Shortgrass. I just got in from helping the night man with a backwards calf. The "mountain of a cow" would absolutely not cooperate be putting her head through the headcatch in the barn so the calf could be pulled. We had to temporarily move that mountain out to the squeeze chute in the corral, where we pulled the calf. All is well, and the calf came out alive and smilin'. The temperature is 39 degrees and there is not the slightest of a breeze. The stars have a friendly twinkle in their eyes. Life is good. :-)

The Word of God tells us over and over to wait on the Lord. If you are a saved child of God, His Word promises us that we will go through trials. If we didn't go through trials, we wouldn't grow closer to Jesus. He likes to put us in positions to where we have to turn to Him and see our need of Him. This is how we mature as Christians.

There are three types of Christians, the ones going through a storm, the ones coming out of a storm and the ones heading into a storm.

Praise God!

Thank you Shortgrass. I again really appreciate your message. They always seem to related so well to things going on here. You are a gifted person!!!

How is your Mom doing? We continue to have her, you, and your family in our thoughts and prayers.

Again, thank you,

TTB

As I understand it, we are all gifted. A spiritual gift is something God gives you for the benefit of others. So I guess we had better remember to thank the giver of the gift. I do appreciate your encouragement, that is a gift that benefits me. Thanks for asking about mom. Mom has had a rough week, consequently I have too. Her injury is very painfull, but otherwise not of lasting nature. We really appreciate all the prayer and emotional support from everyone.

shortgrass----your messages are always so very simple and yet they mean so very much!! You know just how to word them to make us all stop and think about our own lives and how even the largest of challenges can be overcome!! PLEASE keep going with the sunday posts!! I look so very forward to them!! Prayers heading your way for mom from the Croy family in the Madison valley!!
