Isn't it hard when it's below 0 and the wind is blowing snow and you are out in it trying to save calves? A rancher endures hard things for the welfare of his livestock. In Acts 13:50-52 we read of how Barnabas and Paul endured persecution and did so with joy. I do not think that we are to thank God for all things, rather to thank him IN all things. We don't thank Him for the terrible car wreck, but we are happy and grateful that He is with us through these difficulties. Our difficulties are not what He does "to" us. They are a result of mankind's sinful nature. I do not imply that each problem is a result of some something that we have done. What characteristic of Barnabas do we write down this week? A good encourager is one who is able to maintain a cheerful attitude in spite of personal problems. Have yourselves a good Sunday mornin' and a good rest of the week to.

Thanks Shortgrass!

Hope you all have a good week too. We continue to keep Mrs Shortgrass in our thoughts and prayers.

Did you get the better than foot of snow my folks got this week? I bet all that snow and cold made fighting the explosion and fire on their hometown's Main Street very tough. 7 firefighters were injured, and we have them in our thoughts and prayers too.

Cheers---

Thanks for the prayer on our behalf. Hard decisions that we face. No, we missed the snow. That was mostly on the west side of the divide. I did think of your folks when I saw the blurp on the news about the explosion over there. Sounds like a mighty scary deal.

My prayers included for Mrs Shortgrass.

The weather is very encouraging this morning. 48 degrees now so should be able to hit 50 before noon! I luv global warming!

Thanks, Shortgrass. This beautiful weather of the past three days is a great encourager. We had a busy Sunday with new baby calves arriving, but did get to church this evening.

Our prayers will continue for you and Jan. Have a good week.
